Workplace Giving Australia CEO & Board Announcement
Nerida Caesar and Michael Graf, Chairmen of Workplace Giving Australia, have announced on behalf of the Board that David Mann has decided to step down as Chief Executive Officer of Workplace Giving Australia.
David has been with Workplace Giving Australia since December 2021, joining to lead us through a period of transformational change that positively impacted our business model, organisational structure, and processes. During his tenure, we have seen a significant uplift in the engagement of our consulting and technology services, which has resulted in successful program outcomes for corporates and greater impacts for the charitable sector. Workplace Giving Australia continues to be the leading advocate for workplace giving while also providing some of the largest ASX companies with comprehensive giving solutions. David has formed invaluable connections for the business with multiple partners and peers in the industry. David will start with Tour de Cure as its new Chief Executive Officer, an organisation he has long connected with. We thank David and wish him all the best for the future.
The Board has commenced a search for our new CEO, with the assistance of the global firm Heidrick & Struggles. Through this process, we aim to transition toward the end of September. We are looking forward to announcing our new executive leader shortly. We are confident they will build on the foundations created to continue to grow the impact Workplace Giving Australia is having on shaping the philanthropic landscape in Australia and New Zealand.
We would also like to announce that Peter Stumbles has decided to step down from his role as a Non-Executive Director of Workplace Giving Australia after a six-year tenure. During his tenure, Peter has been instrumental in providing strategic direction and promoting the impact of Workplace Giving Australia. The Board is grateful for Peter's commitment over his tenure. Further, we are pleased to announce that Jimmy McGarty has joined us as a Non-Executive Director. Jimmy is a Deloitte partner in Sydney, specialising in audit and assurance. Jimmy is a proven business leader with an impressive reputation for delivering exceptional client service and strong client relationships with Australian and international companies, including many ASX200. As a proponent and supporter of Workplace Giving Australia's mission of making giving part of everyday life, his understanding of corporate Australia and the challenges of business in the current economic circumstance will add an important set of capabilities to our Board.
In addition, Richard Fleming has joined the Board as a Non-Executive Director. Richard is a Senior Partner at Bain & Company and has been involved with the strategic direction of workplace giving in Australia. He brings a passion for increasing corporate giving and many years of strategic consulting skills that will continue to be valuable as Workplace Giving Australia continues to grow and evolve.
Workplace Giving Australia will provide a further update once the CEO succession has been finalised. Again, we thank Peter and David and welcome Jimmy and Richard to our Board.
