• Technology solutions such as our Good2Give platform

We drive change through:

• Conducting workplace giving research and sharing insights

• Providing a collective corporate and charity voice in Government advocacy

• Running awareness campaigns such as Workplace Giving Month and The Australian Workplace Giving Awards

• Working with leading organisations in workplace giving through our membership group The Network.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling our workplace giving solutions to corporate clients.

This role requires a deep understanding of corporate social responsibility (CSR), workplace giving programs, and the ability to build strong relationships with key decision-makers. We have a consultative approach to business development, and we aim to be trusted advisors to our clients.

This role is focused on business development with minimal ongoing account management after a new client has been acquired. Our Implementation Specialist and Client Success Teams are focused on ensuring excellent care and service delivery to ensure the ongoing success of our client’s programs.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Client Acquisition: Identify and engage potential corporate clients who can benefit from our workplace giving solutions

• Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within target organisations, including ESG/CSR leaders, HR executives, and decision-makers

• Consultative Approach: Understand the unique needs and challenges of each client, offering tailored solutions that align with their workplace giving and business goals

• Presentations: Conduct compelling demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value and impact of our solutions

• Negotiation & Closing: Lead negotiations and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements

• Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the CSR and workplace giving space

• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including communications & marketing, solution development, and customer success, to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction

• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of business development activities, client interactions, and pipeline management in HubSpot.

 

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of business development experience, preferably in SaaS or professional services. Direct experience with CSR or workplace giving programs is a plus

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

 

Skills

• Strong understanding of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and workplace giving programs

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with corporate clients

• Strong negotiation and closing skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proficiency in CRM software (HubSpot or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
