THE ANNUAL AUSTRALIAN WORKPLACE GIVING AWARDS NOW OPEN WITH NEW INDIVIDUAL CHAMPION TROPHY
The annual Australian Workplace Giving Awards are now open for entry from corporations, businesses and charities, providing the opportunity to celebrate their impact on Australia's much-loved charities.
This year's awards offer a new category to celebrate the contributions made by individuals at work. The new "Workplace Giving Champion of the Year" celebrates the people behind best practice workplace giving. It can be entered by the business nominating the person, or the individual entering themselves. The usual Award categories are still available, including awards for Best Payroll Giving Program, Best Innovation, Best Volunteering Program, Best Grants Program, Best Corporate & Charity Partnership, and Workplace Giving Program of the Year.
Last year's Workplace Giving Program of the Year winner, JB Hi-Fi Australia's Managing Director, Cameron Trainor commented:
“JB Hi-Fi is incredibly proud to have our Helping Hands program recognised as winner of this year’s 2023 Workplace Giving Program of the Year category. These awards are a fantastic way to celebrate our magnificent team for giving generously to Helping Hands and have helped JB donate more than $33m to our charity partners. We believe in workplace giving as a powerful way to contribute to our charity partners.”
Entry into the awards is now open, with submissions closing on Wednesday 4th September 2024. Finalists will be announced in October, and the awards night celebration and winners announcement are scheduled for Wednesday 20th November 2024, in Sydney.
Workplace Giving Australia collaborates with organisations to make giving a part of everyday life by driving change through connecting with businesses, employees and charities to enable more giving.
