Australian Workplace Giving Awards 2024
Terms & Conditions of Entry
Thank you for your interest in making a submission for the 2024 Australian Workplace Giving Awards.
The following terms and conditions of entry apply to all submissions for the 2024 Australian Workplace Giving Awards.
1) The only channel for submitting an application is using the online application portal on www.workplacegiving.org.au/2024-awards
2) Workplace Giving Australia must receive submissions in accordance with the criteria by 5pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST), by Wednesday 4th September (date extended, was Friday 30 August) 2024 to be eligible to participate in the 2024 Awards. For reasons of fairness late applications will not be accepted.
3) It is the responsibility of an applicant to ensure that all information relevant to the submission is:
- Provided in full and meets the eligibility criteria and word limit requirement;
- Correct – any information provided which, in the view of the judging panel, is misleading or deceptive in any way will result in disqualification and
4) Applicant to ensure permissions and authorisations for the information provided, including third party information
5) Workplace Giving Australia reserves the right to verify information contained in an application, including requiring an applicant to answer questions or provide additional information relating to the submission at any time during the judging process.
6) By entering the 2024 Australian Workplace Giving Awards the applicant agrees for their organisation to be part of any media publicity and for information provided in a submission to be used for promotional activities of Workplace Giving Australia, as appropriate.
7) One organisation may enter more than one (1) category.
8) Organisations may only submit one entry per category, with the exception of the Best Innovation and Best Corporate-Charity Partnership categories.
9) All information and data relating to applications must be based on the time frames specified for each category, a summary of which is below:
12-months prior to submission

18-month prior to submission

10) Judges reserve the right to determine whether an entry qualifies as acceptable. Entries the judges deem unacceptable will be ruled invalid.
11) Judges may deem an entry invalid if, in the past year, the entering organisation has faced any community backlash over its operating practices.
12) All judges' decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into relating to the judging process or the outcome.
13) These conditions may be amended at the discretion of Workplace Giving Australia.

14) Privacy & permissions
By entering these Awards you agree to the following:
Privacy: Workplace Giving Australia is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy, and we’ll only use your personal information to administer your account and to provide the products and services you requested from us. From time to time, we would like to contact you about our products and services, as well as other content that may be of interest to you, and that you consent to us contacting you for this purpose. By entering the Australian Workplace Giving Awards you and your organisation acknowledge that you have read and agree to the privacy policy.
Case Study & Media Information:
By entering the Workplace Giving Awards you agree to your information being used as presented by you in a case study, social media channels and shared with media outlets (copy will be lifted directly from your submission) and no editing option or approval will be available (therefore please ensure you are happy with the content). You also agree that you hold permission from all persons in your photos/images that they consent to their image being used, and that there are no pictures included of children. You also acknowledge that there is no guarantee that your submission or program will be featured in media, social media channels or case studies. By passing on your media contact details you acknowledge that they may be contacted by the media for interview between July - December 2024.
